Elite Four Prize

Hi there, it's me again! So, I figured I'd ask out of curiosity, is the Elite Four prize randomly generated? Or is there some sort of structure to that? I've only beaten it once thus far, so I just thought I'd ask.

Then it must be random, since I got Krabby. Though, I am still curious if there's a system to it. Also, now that I think about it, are legends through this too? I've seen one or two around, so I'm not sure or anything.

From what I know, you can be rewarded with whichever pokemon, excluding legendaries, from all 4 generations.

You can also get a pokemon that you already have.

Well, it is random but there is a system to it.
Each time you beat the league, it gets harder and the Prize Pokemons get better, there are 6 Prize Pokemon Lists.
With a set of wins you go up in the list hierarchy.
All pokemons obtainable as Prizes in the league are in their first evolved forms, there are no Starter Pokemon nor Legendary Pokemons as prizes.
